About Us

Apex Retrofit Consultants Ltd is an independent consultancy specialising in domestic energy efficiency and retrofit services across the UK. We provide high-quality, reliable and cost-effective services to housing providers, local authorities, contractors and delivery partners. Our business is built on three core principles: Quality, Value and Trust. The Role

You'll be responsible for carrying out detailed property surveys, gathering accurate information and producing high-quality assessment reports to support the development and delivery of domestic energy efficiency improvements. The role will involve working independently on site while maintaining regular communication with our Retrofit Coordinators and wider technical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake domestic Retrofit Assessments in accordance with PAS 2035 requirements.

  • Identify existing insulation, heating, ventilation and other energy-related building characteristics.
  • Produce clear, accurate and comprehensive assessment reports using relevant software.
  • Ensure assessments are completed to agreed quality standards and project deadlines.
  • Liaise with Retrofit Coordinators, designers and other members of the team to resolve technical queries.
  • Maintain professional communication with residents, clients and project stakeholders.
  • Manage your workload effectively, including arranging appointments and completing associated administration.
  • Comply with relevant health and safety requirements and company procedures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
