About the Role
Due to continued growth at Eveco Solutions we are looking to add to our Retrofit Assessment team to help support the delivery of large volumes of ongoing work. We provide a range of PAS2035 Retrofit services to clients across the UK as well as full end to end support with social housing schemes such as WHF Wave 3. We are looking for someone who is motivated and committed to join our surveying team to help us continue to provide a fantastic service to our clients. We pride ourselves in delivering quality work in every project we do and this role is ideal for someone who really cares about their work and has a good eye for detail.
You do not need to be based in the Midlands to be considered for this role, but you do need to be within a distance that you are willing to commute via car multiple days a week.
This role is full time remote and field based and will mainly involve travelling to conduct surveys in and around the Midlands and Greater London. There may be times when overnight stays to wider areas of the UK are required as part of the projects we work on and overnight accommodation will be fully paid for by the business.
Salary: Starts from £29,000 but is negotiable based on experience and locations covered.
Standard working: Monday – Friday however due to the nature of the role this has potential for flexibility and can include optional weekend work.
Skills
- Proficient IT skills and use of MS packages, including Microsoft Teams as well as the ability to use mobile & tablet apps for survey submissions and job updates
- Experience with conducting Retrofit Assessments and EPCs on a variety of buildings
- Ability to Drive and sometimes travel greater distances
- Good communication skills and ability to deal calmly with a range of customers from varying backgrounds
- Strong organisational skills and ability to plan carefully
- Problem solving & ability to think outside the box
- Ability to be motivated, work remotely and not be afraid to ask for help if it is needed

Job Requirements
- Conduct on-site Retrofit Assessments to survey existing energy efficiency, including the fabric, heating, ventilation and lighting to identify opportunities for energy-saving retrofits.
- Analyse energy data and prepare reports to present findings and recommendations for energy efficiency improvements.
- Work with local authorities, architects, and contractors to develop retrofit plans and specifications that meet energy-saving goals and comply with relevant regulations.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to building owners, architects, engineers, and contractors on energy efficiency retrofits, including building envelope improvements, heating upgrades, lighting and renewable energy systems
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PAS2035, RdSAP and retrofit requirements for funding schemes to enable fully compliant and high quality survey submissions
- Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss energy efficiency retrofits and report on progress and results.
- Provide high quality customer service to homeowners, tenants and end clients across a range of projects
- Ability to build a professional relationship with our customers and ensure queries are responded to in a professional and timely manner
Preferred Experience
- DEA Accreditation & PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessment accreditation.
- Elmhurst Accredited
- Full clean driving license
- Strong knowledge of domestic dwellings and regulations related to retrofitting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Understanding of technical measures such as Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pumps
- Experience of borescoping cavity walls
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications Required
- Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment
- PAS2035 Retrofit Assessor Training or Level 4 Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment
- Valid UK Drivers Licence
Ideal but not Required
- Level 3 Traditional Buildings Certificate
- Level 4 Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment
- Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination & Risk Assessment
