Job Description

Salary: £31,253 - £44,000

Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is bench marked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

Your Impact

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Luton Operations team as an RTV (Return to Vendor) Controller in our EW (Electronics Warfare) Business. You will be responsible and accountable for the management of customer & company owned materials, at our suppliers, on repair. You will actively manage all dependencies the supplier has on Leonardo & report on internal Leonardo dependencies into the IPT (Integrated Project Team)

As an RTV Controller you will ensure that the timely processing and return of material to and from our vendors in order to maintain required stock levels.

Typical Accountability

  • Perform assignments requiring cross-functional interaction
  • Maintain relationships with supplies and the IPT to ensure cross-functional co-operation
  • Manage repair purchase orders in the supply chain
  • Manage the configuration of the Purchase Order
  • Supporting the function Material Lead regarding supply chain issues
  • Supporting the function Material Lead for IPT project and cross-functional meetings to answer questions concerning RTV supply matters
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of delivery dates within the next 100 day window (execution window)
  • Attend sector RTV reviews and inputs both risk & opportunities

What you'll bring

  • Developing understanding of supply chains
  • A general understanding of functional specific, LCM & business process
  • A good working knowledge and understanding of MS Office Suite
  • A good working knowledge of SAP S4 HANA system would be advantageous
  • A good working knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
