Returns Operative

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Returns Operative to join our team at our warehouse in Ashford. This role is initially a 6 month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands-on role within our ecommerce operation, supporting the processing of customer returns and helping to ensure that products are handled accurately and efficiently from the moment they arrive back with us.

Your Responsibilities

  • Process and manage returned parcels efficiently and accurately
  • Sort and load parcels and products as required
  • Scan items into our systems and sort them according to their status
  • Carry out thorough quality control checks on returned products
  • Identify and report damaged or faulty goods to the Team Leader
  • Handle customer returns with care and attention to detail, helping to maintain a positive customer experience
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse and ecommerce teams to support day-to-day operations.

  • Experienced in a similar warehouse, logistics or ecommerce environment
  • Reliable, dedicated and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexible and willing to support the wider team where needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Physically able to lift heavier items and stand for extended periods of time
  • Fluent in English, with good communication skills
