Interim Revenue Accountant - IFRS 15

6-Month Contract | Day Rate | London / Hybrid

We are partnering with a global technology business looking to appoint an experienced Interim Revenue Accountant for an initial six-month assignment.

This is a broad, commercially focused role supporting the business through a period of finance transformation. The successful candidate will take the lead on understanding the existing revenue recognition landscape, strengthening IFRS 15 policies and helping establish clearer ownership of revenue processes across the organisation.

The role will include:

  • Reviewing the existing contract base and understanding how revenue is currently being recognised
  • Establishing and documenting clear revenue recognition policies in line with IFRS 15
  • Reviewing complex customer contracts and revenue recognition milestones
  • Identifying key revenue recognition risks and areas for improvement
  • Working closely with Commercial Finance, FP&A, Financial Controllers and shared services
  • Improving processes and controls around revenue recognition
  • Supporting the transfer of revenue accounting knowledge and responsibilities into the wider Finance function
  • Working alongside an ongoing ERP implementation and wider finance transformation programme

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong hands-on IFRS 15 and revenue recognition experience
  • Experience working with complex customer contracts
  • A strong technical accounting foundation combined with a commercial mindset
  • Experience working across multiple international entities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across Finance, Commercial and offshore teams
  • Experience improving, documenting or implementing revenue recognition processes

Technology, software or telecoms experience would be highly advantageous

ERP implementation or finance transformation experience would be beneficial

Availability for an initial six-month assignment and flexibility for some international travel
