Position Summary

The Revenue & Pricing Manager is a key commercial finance role responsible for providing insight, analysis and challenge to support profitable revenue growth and achievement of the organisation's commercial objectives.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will act as a senior finance business partner to the VP of Sales and wider commercial leadership team, providing high-quality financial and commercial analysis to support pricing, customer, product and revenue decisions.

The role will have particular responsibility for understanding the drivers of revenue and gross profit performance, including price/rate, volume and mix variances, and translating complex financial and commercial data into clear, concise and actionable insights for senior management and executive stakeholders.

The Revenue & Pricing Manager will provide appropriate challenge to commercial assumptions and decisions, ensuring that pricing and commercial proposals are supported by robust financial analysis and are aligned with the organisation's strategic, revenue and profitability objectives.

This position requires a commercially astute finance professional who is comfortable operating across Finance and Sales, able to influence senior stakeholders and capable of balancing commercial opportunity with financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Whilst reporting to the Alaris Finance Director, act as the key Finance business partner to the VP of Sales and wider commercial leadership team, providing insight and constructive challenge to support achievement of commercial objectives.
  • Lead analysis of revenue performance, including price/rate, volume and mix variances, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Own and develop revenue forecasting, working with Sales and business leaders to produce robust forecasts, assess assumptions and highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Own and develop pricing analysis and governance, reviewing significant pricing decisions and assessing price realisation, discounting and margin impact.
  • Perform customer, product, service and contract profitability analysis to identify opportunities to improve revenue quality and commercial returns.
  • Support commercial decision-making through financial modelling, scenario analysis and evaluation of key sales and pricing initiatives.
  • Provide clear, concise and actionable reporting to senior management and executives, translating complex financial analysis into meaningful business insights.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance and other business teams to improve commercial performance, forecasting accuracy, pricing discipline and decision-making.
  • Undertake periodic travel to business locations, customer sites and commercial meetings as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
  • Fully qualified professional accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent internationally recognised accounting qualification.
  • Significant post-qualified experience in commercial finance, pricing, revenue management, FP&A, business partnering or a similar commercially focused finance role.
  • Strong experience of pricing analysis, customer profitability, commercial modelling and/or revenue optimisation.
  • Experience of constructively challenging commercial proposals and influencing business decisions through financial analysis.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capability, working effectively with complex datasets.
  • Experience presenting financial and commercial insight to senior management.

  • Strong understanding of pricing, revenue drivers, profitability and forecasting.
  • Confident senior-level business partner with the ability to influence and constructively challenge.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across Finance, Sales and wider business functions.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and financial/reporting systems.
  • Willing and able to travel as required by the business.
