Revenue Assurance Manager - South Ayrshire

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000+ (DOE)
Full-time | Office-based | Permanent

Are you an experienced Revenue Assurance, Revenue Protection, or Revenue Recovery professional who thrives on uncovering discrepancies, improving processes, and protecting business revenue? Our Client in the Distribution sector is seeking a Revenue Assurance Manager to take ownership of a well-established Revenue Protection function within a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment. Our client based in South Ayrshire is offering an exciting opportunity for a Billings/AR manager to join the team in a newly created role designed to strengthen oversight, drive continuous improvement, and ensure robust financial control across a growing business.

The Opportunity

This role has been created to provide greater management and oversight of an established Revenue Protection team that processes approximately 8,000 orders every week, validating supplier costs against purchase invoices to ensure revenue integrity. As supplier tariffs and billing complexities continue to increase, you'll play a critical role in identifying discrepancies, challenging suppliers where necessary, and ensuring finance has a strong voice in the onboarding of new suppliers and customers.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll work closely with senior leadership, operational teams, sales support, and software development colleagues to drive improvements and protect profitability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
