Revenue Forecasting & Reporting Manager
We are looking for a commercially minded Revenue Forecasting & Reporting Manager to lead the budgeting, forecasting and reporting of wholesale revenue, billing and cash flows. This role combines financial analysis, forecasting and stakeholder engagement, helping the business understand performance, enhance forecast accuracy and make informed decisions through robust financial insight.
You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Retail and operational teams to identify key performance drivers, analyse emerging trends and support strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the management of annual revenue and cash flows of up to £1bn while leading a team of analysts responsible for delivering high-quality reporting and forecasting activities.
Please note, this role is internally known as a Revenue Reporting Manager.
What you'll be doing as a Revenue Forecasting & Reporting Manager
- Lead the monthly reporting cycle for the Revenue & Settlement function, consolidating financial information and communicating performance insights to Finance and key business stakeholders.
- Manage and develop revenue and demand forecasting models, providing evidence-based assumptions, analysing trends and variances, and recommending appropriate forecasting approaches.
- Support the annual revenue budgeting process, undertaking detailed bottom-up analysis to recommend and agree revenue budgets and provide inputs into tariff-setting activities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Retail and Group stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are aligned and that provisions, accruals and other financial adjustments are accurately reflected within reporting processes.
- Apply strong commercial and financial acumen to identify revenue and cash flow risks and opportunities, providing clear recommendations and driving actions with stakeholders to improve business performance.
- Use advanced analytical techniques and financial modelling to improve understanding of key revenue drivers, strengthen forecast accuracy and support informed decision-making across the business.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues across the organisation, influencing stakeholders and providing clear, insightful reporting to support strategic and operational objectives.

Base location
Hybrid - Clearwater Court in Reading - RG1 8DB
Working pattern
Full-time, 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you'll need are:
- Educated to degree level, with experience in financial reporting and forecasting.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an eye for identifying trends.
- Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel, SQL database and experience operating financial modelling tools.
- Strong commercial awareness and mindset, with the ability to make logical and well-thought-out decisions.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a range of stakeholders.
- Team leadership and line management experience.

Additional skills and experiences that would be great to bring:
- Experience within a revenue-focused environment.
- An accounting qualification and/or management accounting experience, and these skills would be supported and enhanced in this role.
- Previous experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Offering between £51,000 and £70,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills.
