Revenue Growth & Insights Manager
Job Overview
We’re partnering with a market-leading consumer goods business to recruit a Revenue Growth & Insights Manager for a six-month temporary assignment.
This is a hands-on, analytical role supporting profitable growth through better pricing, promotions, and commercial reporting. You’ll turn data into clear recommendations, helping Sales, Marketing, and Finance understand performance and identify opportunities.
The three essential requirements are excellent Excel and Power BI skills, a consumer goods or retail background, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse sales, revenue, and margins across products, customers, and channels, highlighting trends and growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain Excel models and Power BI dashboards to provide clear visibility of commercial performance.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market positioning to support pricing recommendations.
- Evaluate promotions, assessing sales uplift, profitability, and return on investment.
- Support the development of promotional plans through analysis of previous activity and customer performance.
- Track discounts and trade investment against agreed terms and budgets, highlighting discrepancies.
- Prepare business cases and scenario models to assess potential pricing and promotional changes.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to translate findings into practical actions.
- Improve reporting accuracy and efficiency, reducing manual processes where possible.
- Independently manage analytical tasks and deliver accurate work within agreed deadlines.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
