Revenue Growth Controller

Home-Based | UK | Commercial Function

Are you a commercially sharp, analytically driven leader with a passion for unlocking profitable growth? Henderson Brown Recruitment is happy to confirm we are supporting a global food manufacturer with a high-impact opportunity to shape and lead Revenue Growth Management (RGM) strategy across branded and COB portfolios, influencing pricing, promotional effectiveness, customer profitability and long-term value creation.

We’re seeking a Revenue Growth Controller to own the development and implementation of RGM frameworks that drive sustainable net revenue, margin improvement and strategic commercial decision-making.

The Role

As Revenue Growth Controller, you will lead the end-to-end RGM agenda, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Category, Marketing and Supply Chain to ensure commercial plans align with strategic guidelines. You will champion initiatives across pricing, pack architecture, promotional optimisation and trade spend governance, ensuring investment delivers strong ROI and supports profitable growth.

You will be responsible for:

Strategy & Planning

  • Leading a pipeline of RGM initiatives including strategic price moves, promotional strategy, trade spend allocation and pack/price architecture.
  • Driving digital and analytics transformation within commercial planning.
  • Evaluating customer and channel profitability to optimise resource allocation.
  • Recommending actions to close gaps against business targets.

Promotional Optimisation & Trade Spend

  • Managing and optimising trade spend investment.
  • Evaluating promotional ROI and improving planning/execution with Sales teams.
  • Developing frameworks for promotional effectiveness and post-event analysis.
  • Ensuring trade investments align with growth and profitability objectives.

Pricing Strategy & Governance

  • Building annual pricing strategies aligned to market dynamics and business goals.
  • Leading pricing reviews and supporting cost inflation recovery plans.
  • Assessing elasticity, competitive movements and modelling price/pack changes.
  • Maintaining pricing governance and approval processes.

Customer & Channel Profitability

  • Delivering detailed profitability analysis across customers, channels and categories.
  • Identifying unprofitable activities and recommending corrective actions.
  • Supporting customer negotiations with robust financial insight.
  • Developing long-term customer investment strategies.

Reporting & Insight

  • Leading revenue bridge reporting and drivers analysis.
  • Creating quarterly trade spend reviews for senior leadership.
  • Monitoring performance vs budget, forecast and strategic plans.
  • Developing dashboards and KPIs to track commercial performance.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Acting as a commercial partner to Sales, Category, Marketing and Supply Chain.
  • Influencing decision-making through insight-led recommendations.
  • Challenging assumptions to ensure commercial decisions deliver appropriate returns.

About You

You will bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Commercial, Finance, or Revenue Growth Management.
  • Proven success operating cross-functionally at senior management level.
  • Strong understanding of revenue management principles and applications.
  • High analytical capability with strong commercial judgement.
  • Ability to turn data into compelling stories and actionable recommendations.
  • Dynamic, engaging communication style with advanced influencing skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, pace and a drive to win.
