Revenue Growth Manager - Branded Food & FMCG

Home-based (UK), with occasional head office travel
£70,000-£80,000 basic + private medical + pension up to 7.5% (no car or bonus)
Permanent

The Opportunity

We’re supporting a long-established branded food manufacturer with the appointment of a Revenue Growth Manager.

You’ll own revenue growth management across a branded and customer own brand portfolio sold into the UK grocery multiples and other channels: pricing, price-pack architecture, promotional strategy and ROI, trade investment and customer profitability.

A credible RGM benchmark is already in place. This isn’t building from a blank sheet. It’s taking something that works, making it materially better, and making sure the commercial and senior leadership teams act on it.

It’s a standalone role reporting to a Director, in a business that runs lean and pragmatically. You’ll do the modelling yourself and present the recommendations, with scope to build a team over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll own the revenue growth management agenda end to end, with the priorities being:
    • Setting the annual pricing strategy and leading cost price increase recovery with the major multiples.
    • Building price-pack architecture and mix to grow net revenue and margin across branded and own label.
    • Owning trade investment and promotional strategy, using post-event ROI to decide what gets funded.
    • Delivering customer, channel and SKU profitability, and acting on what it shows.
    • Presenting recommendations to the senior leadership team and winning buy-in from Sales and Marketing.
    • Partnering Sales, Category, Marketing and Supply Chain through JBP and S&OP.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring an established track record owning RGM in a branded food or FMCG manufacturer selling into UK grocery. Experience across both branded and own label is a strong advantage.

What matters most is that you’ve done this properly and can show it. Pricing and promotional decisions you owned, trade investment you governed, and numbers behind your work: margin recovered, trade spend reallocated, promotions you stopped. You’ll be hands-on with the modelling and comfortable turning analysis into a clear recommendation.

Just as important is presence. You’ll be confident presenting to a senior leadership team and influencing Sales and Marketing without positional authority.

This is a manufacturer-side role, so retailer pricing, FP&A or analytics-only backgrounds won’t suit.

Why Join?

This is a chance to own a discipline outright in a business where it visibly matters. Pricing, promotional effectiveness and trade investment are central to how the business grows margin, and the person in this role has a direct line to that.

The role is fully home-based with occasional head office travel, alongside private medical, a pension of up to 7.5% and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. The package is a basic salary with no bonus or car allowance.

If you’re interested in learning more, we’d be happy to have a confidential conversation.
