Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) and/or relevant experience in an administrative, operational, highways or asset management environment.
• An awareness of London's transport network and key stakeholder environment would be beneficial.
• Understanding of asset management systems or similar business databases, such as Maximo.
• Knowledge of Street Manager, Streetcare or similar systems would be advantageous.

Skills

• Ability to review, assess and process multiple documents accurately and efficiently.
• Skilled in quickly identifying and prioritising safety-critical emergency requests.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to react and respond appropriately to changing priorities, working calmly under pressure to deliver effective outcomes.

Experience

• Experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience of working remotely and/or with prearranged targets or goals.
• Experience of using business systems and databases to record, manage and retrieve information accurately.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced, high-pressure operational environment.
• Experience of managing competing priorities and working to deadlines in a customer-focused environment.
• Experience of call handling and resolving queries.

Hybrid working within this role enables a 50:50 balance between office and home working over a four-week period. These arrangements may be adjusted in line with business requirements.
