Job Title: Revenue Manager

Location: Glasgow

Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

The Address Glasgow & The Address Wren is a leading hospitality provider, dedicated to offering exceptional guest experiences through superior service, modern amenities, and strategic growth. We are seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to oversee our hotel’s revenue optimization and reservations process, ensuring that every aspect is meticulously handled to drive maximum profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting and Revenue Optimization

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly room bookings and occupancy trends, providing detailed reports to management.
  • Analyse historical data, market conditions, and competitor performance to forecast future demand and optimize revenue.
  • Develop accurate and timely occupancy and revenue forecasts, including weekly segmentation forecasting reports, to inform hotel management decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the group revenue management team to adjust room rates and promotions based on demand forecasting insights.

Online Travel Agency (OTA) Management

  • Update OTAs with current offers and promotions, ensuring they reflect the best deals to attract potential guests.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Conduct daily reporting on availability and pick-up rates to maintain optimal occupancy levels.
  • Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to optimize room rates.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and demand patterns to identify revenue growth opportunities.
  • Utilise data to forecast future demand and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.

Email and Guest Management

  • Manage multiple email inboxes, responding to guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all websites are up to date with accurate images and descriptions of the hotel’s offerings.
  • Handle group inquiries, pricing, and strategic planning for seamless guest experiences.

Reservation and Inventory Management

  • Ensure payment and rooming lists are received prior to guest arrival and communicated efficiently with the reception team.
  • Manage inventory and availability, keeping reservations updated in line with company procedures.
  • Work closely with the Front Office to facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests.
  • Quote and Manage all group books and leases with group bookers

Collaboration and Training

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional offers and packages that drive revenue.
  • Conduct regular revenue meetings with department heads to ensure cohesive communication and strategic alignment.
  • Utilise revenue management systems and tools to generate comprehensive reports for informed decision-making.
  • Train and mentor team members on revenue management best practices and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in revenue management, reservations, or a related role in hospitality.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
