Reports to: Revenue Operations – Manager
Key Responsibilities
Reconciliation
- Use our Bank Reconciliation software (Adra) to ensure all assigned bank accounts are reconciled daily.
- Critically review unreconciled transactions, ensuring all outstanding lodgements are challenged promptly to minimize loss prevention and open payments are escalated to our Accounts Payable team to ensure timely payment processing.
- Run full monthly reconciliation reviews with the Revenue Operations Manager, Head of Financial Operations, and Head of Financial Control to update on the status assigned reconciliations. This should include highlighting any risks and suggesting any opportunities to improve processes.
- Be a subject matter expert on our sales and banking processes. Provide support to our stores to ensure a high level of process compliance.
- Working with the Transformation Lead and Systems Accountant, ensure reconciliation software (Adra) capabilities are optimized by continually challenging and refining its day-to-day use to improve match rates.
- Reconcile store floats to the general ledger at period end.

Reporting
- Prepare reporting to communicate overs and shorts, outstanding lodgements, and petty cash spend to the Field Teams.
- Prepare daily reporting to circulate opening cash balances to interested parties.
- Prepare weekly cash flow reporting that documents accurately the nature of inflows and outflows across each assigned bank account.
Other
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, placing an emphasis on providing a high level of customer service to those that interact with the Revenue Operations team.
- Facilitate store openings and closures.
- Transfer cash as required between bank accounts to ensure they remain sufficiently funded.
- Order banking consumables for stores, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained for process continuity.
- Involvement in the year-end process, preparation of deliverables for the audit, and contact for the auditors for queries on your assigned reconciliations.
- Ensure mandates and user access are up to date, relevant, and appropriate for the bank accounts you are assigned.
- Ongoing non-business as usual project work within the Finance team as and when required.

We Would Like To Meet Someone Who Is
- 1-2 years’ experience working within a Finance transactional team.
- Experience preparing high-volume bank reconciliations with prior use of reconciliation software preferred.
- Strong numeracy and proficient use of Excel including look ups, pivot tables, and sumifs.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a desire to drive improvements in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial business.
- Willing to roll up sleeves and get into and question the detail.
- Open, friendly person who places an emphasis on providing first-class customer service.
