About Journey Further:
Journey Further is more than our name, it’s a symbol of what we do. Founded in the UK in 2017, the agency has rapidly grown to over 160 specialists across offices in London, Leeds, Manchester and New York City, all on a mission to take brands beyond the limits of performance, platform optimization, and human potential. As a global, full-service digital media agency, we believe in transparency, innovation, and expertise to create partnerships that drive real, measurable impact.
Role Purpose:
To connect our client onboarding, contract billing, and revenue processes into a seamless, predictable engine for the agency. By bringing structure to our client agreements, invoicing workflows, and reporting, this role ensures our revenue tracking is crystal clear and accurate. Ultimately, you will bridge day-to-day financial operations with team leadership to drive commercial efficiency and agency growth.
What you will do:
- Oversee the end-to-end client contract lifecycle, ensuring accurate revenue scheduling, invoicing alignment, retainer tracking, and timely revenue recognition
- Deliver clean, regular reporting on monthly recurring revenue, account health, billing accuracy, and pipeline status for leadership
- Streamline the transition from won deal to active account, establishing clear handoff procedures between business development, client services, and finance
- Provide day-to-day operational leadership to ensure teams adhere to commercial processes, contract terms, and data entry standards
- Manage client contract lifecycles, including renewals, upsells, scope adjustments, and rate cards
- Reconcile monthly billing, retainers, and project milestones against active client agreements
- Maintain accurate client, deal, and revenue records within the agency CRM and billing systems, conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity
- Monitor account health metrics, identifying risk of churn or revenue leakage early
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including billing rules, contract templates, workflow guidance, and standard operating procedures, while training new team members on commercial processes and systems
- Identify opportunities to automate manual administrative tasks across the revenue cycle

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
