đ Iâm Oren, Co-founder of Zen Educate
Weâre looking for a Revenue Operations Manager to turbo charge our next chapter of growth in the UK.
If you love designing elegant solutions to complex problems, turning data into meaningful stories and rolling up your sleeves to drive user adoption of processes you create, then keep reading.
đ Why we exist
Education is the cornerstone of a thriving society. Schools do their utmost to provide children with positive experiences, but having the right staff is essential to fulfilling that promise - thatâs where we come in. Whether itâs a year 1 teacher to greet her âgood morningâ or a Teaching Assistant to support him in the break times, Zen helps schools find the right educators faster without breaking the bank.
Schools in the UK spend over ÂŁ2bn a year on agency staff. Zen is an all-in-one digital platform that gives schools full control over how they find, vet, and manage temporary educators. School leaders can search, book, and manage staff in real time, while gaining full visibility and control over their spend and compliance.
To go with our technology, we practice a culture of âwe care moreâ, so that ultimately, by improving staffing in schools, weâre delivering thousands of smiles to childrenâs faces every single day. What we need now is to reach the next level in school awareness and adoption. Thatâs where you come in.
đ± What we are looking for
Weâve built strong foundations already:
- We are one of the leading suppliers in our industry and one of the fastest growing companies in the UK.
- A high-performing and highly motivated team in place.
- A differentiated product that makes a genuine impact on the lives of educators and pupils.
Weâre now looking to level up even further. Youâll be excited about this role if you:
- Love mapping out processes and deeply understanding problems with stakeholders, before designing solutions.
- Communicate and collaborate equally effectively with ICs adopting your suggested solutions as you do with leaders struggling with repetitive admin.
- Can deliver at pace while maintaining accuracy. Youâre equally passionate about pushing teams forward as you are about maintaining everyoneâs trust in the data they see.
- Are as comfortable rolling out new processes to 100 people as you are in creating dashboards or data visualisations.

Iâm in my final year doing Economics and I donât know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer â it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donât need a masters. Letâs look at the ones youâd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet â that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right â and where to focus when applying.
- Youâre passionate about making real world impact on the education system.
- You think BIG, not only incrementally. In three years the revenue operations function will be unrecognisable from where it is now.
- Youâre process-led and hyper-structured. You plan meticulously to deliver commercial results by building playbooks that donât rely on you on an ongoing basis.
What your first 6-12 months might look like:
- Turbo charge the sales team by taking over the management of our recent hubspot implementation.
- Motivate a high performing account management team even further by improving the commissions process.
- Deliver world class service to our largest customers by designing processes that connect commercial contracts to the finance process seamlessly.
- Increase profitability by implementing automation to replace repetitive admin carried out by commercial ICs.
Who youâll work with
Weâre a 500+ (and growing!) team operating across the UK, US, and Canada. Weâre well funded, growing fast, and have tremendous unit economics. Simply put, weâre doing really well by doing good. As such, weâre a passionate group of missionaries rather than mercenaries. Weâre looking to find someone who shares our passion for the mission of making education better.
What you might like or dislike
Every place makes trade-offs based on what they value and where they are in their journey.
Hereâs a list of things you might find useful in figuring out if this is the right role for you. If we end up chatting, feel free to dig deeper into any of them.
- Slope and passion over Y Intercept. High-trajectory individuals with a passion for what they do very quickly lap those with a higher initial starting point in their domain but slower trajectory. That means that how you go about tackling hard unstructured problems matters more to us than your experience with a specific tool or industry.
- First principles reasoning rather than replicating other companies best practices: we believe every situation has nuance. Experience is an input in decision making, but not the only one. The leaders that do best are endlessly curious and deconstruct problems to first principles. Theyâre not just making decisions because theyâve seen them work at previous companies, they experiment a lot and double down only on the successful ones.
- Building the system rather than individual heroics: having great players on the pitch is critical. However, a great system trumps the best performer without one. Weâve got a product with genuine product market-fit that makes our customers lives better. Weâre looking for someone who can level up systems and then extract themselves from them to tackle the next big problem.
