Revenue Performance Analyst
As a Revenue Performance Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role within the Revenue Performance team. You’ll provide the analytical insight, commercial thinking, and data-driven discipline needed to continuously improve revenue performance across our network.
Working across product sales, customer behaviour, competitor activity, and market trends, you’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that support better commercial decisions at both route and individual train level.
In this role, you will:
- Analyse demand, capacity, and sales performance to identify opportunities to improve revenue and maximise commercial performance.
- Work closely with the Revenue Performance Manager to develop and maintain accurate demand and revenue forecasts.
- Deliver insightful analysis across routes, sales and distribution, demand and revenue forecasting, tactical marketing and retailing, and pricing changes.
- Translate internal and external market developments into forward-looking, actionable recommendations.
- Monitor route and regional performance, identifying risks and opportunities to help ensure revenue targets are achieved.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to turn analysis into practical actions that drive continuous revenue improvement.
- Use data and insight to challenge performance, identify emerging trends, and support informed revenue management decisions.

We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable commercial insights.
- Has experience working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive measurable performance improvement.
- Has strong practical expertise in Microsoft Excel and experience creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards, including their underlying data connections.
- Understands how large datasets are structured, stored, and managed, with the ability to work confidently with complex data.
- Is an excellent communicator and presenter, able to explain analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Has strong report-writing skills and can communicate recommendations with clarity and impact.
- Holds a degree or equivalent qualification in Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
