Working closely with the Head of Revenue Protection & Security, you will create a strong performance culture, develop our people and ensure resources are deployed effectively to tackle fare evasion and ticketless travel, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
You will also play an important role in delivering and developing our wider Revenue Protection Strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Bring To This Role
We are looking for someone who can combine strong operational leadership with effective people management.
You will be comfortable leading a busy frontline operation, making decisions, challenging performance where necessary and supporting people to develop.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Relevant experience within Revenue Protection or a comparable enforcement or operational environment.
- Strong people-management and leadership experience.
- Experience of managing and improving individual and team performance.
- A proven ability to deliver against targets and KPIs.

- The ability to manage competing operational priorities and deploy resources effectively.
- A fair, consistent and confident approach to leadership and people management.
This role needs someone who is visible, engaged and prepared to lead from the front.

Just as importantly, you will create an environment where people understand what is expected of them, receive the right support and development, and are trusted to deliver.
If you have strong leadership skills, understand frontline Revenue Protection and want the opportunity to influence the future direction and performance of the department, we would like to hear from you.
