Revenue Support Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Financial & Professional Liability Insurance (FINPRO) team at Marsh. This role will be based in Norwich. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Revenue Support Analyst within Marsh's FINPRO team, you will play a key role in supporting business performance through the management, analysis, and reporting of client service revenue. Working closely with leadership and client-facing colleagues, you'll use data and financial insights to drive accurate forecasting, reporting, and revenue recognition, helping the business make informed decisions and achieve its financial objectives.

This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building stakeholder relationships, and delivering meaningful commercial insights.

We will count on you to:

  • Responsible for the active management and tracking of Client Service Revenue in line with Revenue Recognition policies and controls and that of business expectations and requirements.
  • Manage client level revenue data in order to build and provide forecast projections, identify revenue movements and trends and drive enablers for accurate reporting and revenue performance.
  • Reconciliation of processed and transacted revenues to identify and validate processing accuracy and discrepancies and alignment to forecasts.
  • Actively manage revenue accrual requirements to ensure accurate recognition of revenue in line with expectations and revenue recognition policy and criteria. Responsible for Aged Accrual management.
  • Query management processes to ensure revenue corrections required are flagged and managed to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Active engagements with client facing colleagues and leadership within the business to drive and understand expected revenue outcomes.
  • Regular reporting on revenue positions and performance.

What you need to have:

  • Solid financial acumen with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent understanding and usage of Microsoft applications, notably a high level of skill governing Excel.
  • Ability to manage, understand and digest high volumes of data to provide meaningful insights and accurate reporting.
  • First class communication skills which can be adapted and tailored to all levels of seniority.
  • Thought leadership skills to assist management with financial decision making.
