Pay Details: Grade 5 SCP 8-12 £26,824 - £28,598 p.a.
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm & Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
Main Place of Work: Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry
Description
Administration of Local Taxation including listing, collection, recovery and enforcement of Council Tax, NNDR and all income due to the Council
About You
You will need:
- An understanding of matters relating to the recovery of Council Tax, National Non Domestic Rates and all other income due to the Council.
- Experience in dealing with financial matters
- Experience in working with fully computerised systems
- Able to deal confidently and effectively with customers.
- Able to deal with customers in difficult situations.
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent level / ability to achieve the required standard in numeracy and literacy testing
