Revenues Support Officer (Council Tax)

Scale 4 - £30,288 - £31,611

An opportunity has arisen to join a busy Council Tax section within the Directorate of Resources for the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

The Team is committed to providing a high-quality service for the Boroughs council taxpayers and other stakeholders, whilst ensuring that the database of approximately 129,000 properties is accurately maintained.

You will assist the Section to ensure that council tax is collected and recovered within the legislative framework.

The successful candidate should be able to maintain a high standard of professionalism and will work effectively as part of a large team, as well as working on their own initiative.

You will provide clerical support to deal with the day-to-day administration and enforcement of council tax. You will possess effective time management skills, work under pressure, pay attention to detail and have the ability to maintain confidentiality. You should have good numeracy and communication skills and be ICT literate.
