Experienced Revit Architectural Technologist / Architectural Technician
Location: SW London
Salary: £45-55K depending on experience
DBLO Associates Architects is looking for an experienced Revit Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician to join our London studio.
We are a design-led architectural practice working on ambitious live and upcoming projects in the UK and internationally. We are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician who can play a central role in the detailed technical design and delivery of our projects.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who takes real satisfaction in making good architecture buildable: resolving details, coordinating information, anticipating problems and helping project teams deliver with confidence.
Experience working on hospitality, commercial, aviation, cultural, public, mixed-use or other complex building projects would be beneficial. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked on substantial projects requiring coordinated technical delivery at pace.
A qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline is welcomed, and CIAT membership would be an advantage. However, practical experience, technical judgement and the quality of your work are more important to us than titles.
The successful candidate will work closely with project architects, directors, consultants and the wider design team to develop, coordinate and deliver high-quality technical information across developed design, tender and construction stages.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
