We are looking for an experienced Revit BIM Technician to join our team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for the role to be extended depending on workload and project requirements.
The successful candidate will support the design and construction teams across a range of commercial new-build and extension projects, including steel-framed developments, residential flats, car showrooms, and other commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and development of Revit models from concept through to construction and as-built stages.
- Production of construction drawings, details, and coordinated technical information.
- Modelling of structural steel frames, architectural elements, and MEP services.
- Coordination of architectural, structural, and building services information within Revit.
- Updating models and drawings to incorporate design changes and site information.
- Preparation and maintenance of as-built Revit models and drawings.
- Assisting the site and project teams with technical queries and construction detailing.
- Reviewing consultant and subcontractor information and identifying potential coordination issues.
- Supporting the wider project team with BIM and Revit-related requirements.

Experience & Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good working knowledge and practical experience of Autodesk Revit.
- Can demonstrate experience producing construction-level models, drawings, and details.
- Understanding of building construction and the coordination of architectural, structural, and MEP information.
- Experience working on commercial, steel-framed, or similar construction projects would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with designers, engineers, and site teams.
- A practical understanding of how BIM models and drawings translate into construction on site.

Position
- Contract: Initial 3-month contract
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, normal office working hours, office based with some flexibility possible.
- Projects: Commercial new-build and extension projects
- Salary / Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
The position would suit a practical Revit Technician who is comfortable working across different disciplines and wants to be involved in projects from design development through construction and final as-built information.
