Are you fed up of constant stress in your role? Silly deadlines with contractors who then move the goalposts? Maybe you don't get the support you need to deliver projects properly.
How about working for a firm who puts their employees first? A firm that know their clients and employees inside out.
Keeping staff motivated by rewarding them with bonuses, supporting them in their development and offering mentoring to help them develop new skills.
They also offer a relaxed place to work with the focus on staff retention rather than business greed.
They are a cash rich business who re-invest their profits back into the business. Salaries are very good, working patterns are flexible and people are treated like adults. No passive aggressive silences if you have to leave early or arrive late.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
