Measured Surveyor / Revit Technician

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Measured Surveyor / Revit Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate measured building surveys and transforming survey data into high-quality 2D and 3D digital models using Autodesk Revit.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working both on site and in the office, with a strong eye for detail and a practical understanding of buildings, construction and technical drawing.

You will work closely with project managers, designers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure that survey information and Revit models are accurate, coordinated, and delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed measured building surveys across residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Accurately record existing building dimensions, levels, openings, structures, finishes, and architectural features using appropriate surveying equipment and technology.
  • Take comprehensive site photographs, maintain clear survey records, and identify any discrepancies, access issues, or site constraints.
  • Process and interpret survey information to produce accurate existing-condition drawings and digital models.
  • Create accurate Revit models from measured survey information, point clouds, existing drawings, and other source data.
  • Produce plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, and other technical drawings directly from Revit models, developing models to the appropriate level of detail and information required for each project.
  • Maintain model accuracy and consistency, updating models following site surveys and design changes.
  • Produce high-quality drawing packages for planning, tender, construction, and client presentation purposes.
  • Coordinate architectural information with structural, MEP, and other consultant information where required.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders, and attend site meetings and project inspections as required.
  • Manage your survey and modelling workload effectively, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and presentation.
  • Contribute to improving internal surveying, modelling, and BIM processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
