About Appear
Appear is building the infrastructure that helps brands get cited by AI: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini. We're early, we're growing fast, and we need someone who can sell a category that didn't exist two years ago.
Context
Search is shifting. When someone asks ChatGPT which law firm, clinic, or software to use, the brands that get cited win the business, and most companies have no idea whether they're showing up. Appear fixes that. We measure AI visibility, identify the gaps, and build the content infrastructure to close them.
Tasks
- Own HubSpot end-to-end: configuration, workflows, custom objects, pipelines, permissions, and data hygiene across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and Service Hub.
- Design and maintain account and lead segmentation models that reflect our multiple GTM motions, ensuring each segment is routed and worked correctly.
- Build and own lead routing logic, territory, round-robin, and rules-based that runs cleanly across concurrent motions and avoids conflicts or leakage.
- Design, implement, and continuously tune lead scoring models (fit + engagement) that reflect the different buying signals across each motion.
- Design and maintain lifecycle stages and scoring models that align Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success and Product-Led Growth.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give leadership real-time visibility into pipeline, funnel conversion, and revenue performance across all active motions.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions inside HubSpot.
- Own integrations between HubSpot and the rest of the GTM stack (e.g. Slack, Lemlist, Instantly, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, billing/finance systems), evaluating and onboarding new tools as our needs evolve.
- Use AI-powered enrichment and automation tools to keep contact, account, and pipeline data continuously updated, deduplicated, and accurate reducing manual data entry across the GTM team.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards deduplication, field standardization, and enrichment processes.
- Support quota and territory planning, forecasting, and compensation reporting with clean, reliable data.
- Train and support end users across the GTM org on HubSpot best practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
- 3-5+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Marketing Operations, with deep hands-on HubSpot experience (admin-level required; HubSpot certifications a plus).
- Proven experience building and maintaining HubSpot workflows, custom properties, reporting, and pipeline automation.
- Hands-on experience designing segmentation, lead routing, and lead scoring models, ideally across more than one GTM motion running at once.
- Comfort operating in a multi-motion environment, balancing sometimes-competing requirements from PLG, sales-led, and/or partner motions within a single system.
- Strong SQL or spreadsheet skills for data analysis; experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar) a plus.
- Familiarity with the broader GTM tech stack (Slack, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zapier/Workato, or similar) and experience integrating new tools into HubSpot.
- Experience using AI-powered enrichment or automation tools (e.g., Clay, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar) to keep CRM data fresh and accurate at scale.
- A systems-thinking mindset: You can see how a single field change ripples across the whole funnel.
- Excellent cross-functional communication; you can translate between technical systems and business needs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
- Real category upside. GEO is where SEO was in 2004. You're early enough to matter.
- Founders in the room. Direct access to the CEO, CRO, CMO, and GTM. No bureaucracy between you and decisions.
- We're not looking for someone to fill a seat. We're looking for someone who looks at a category that barely exists, sees the opportunity, and wants to be the person who figured out how to sell it.
