Our HR Policy and Projects Service is looking for a passionate and dedicated Reward Analyst to join our team and help drive our pay, reward and job evaluation agenda.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Reward Analyst, you will provide professional expertise across job evaluation, pay and reward, workforce analytics and organisational change projects. You will play a key role in ensuring that our pay and reward practices remain fair, transparent and evidence-based.
- You'll manage and support the Council's job evaluation process
- Provide expert advice to managers and HR colleagues
- Analyse workforce and reward data
- Lead reward-related projects
- Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives
Working closely with senior leaders and HR colleagues, you'll help deliver insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a talented HR professional with strong analytical skills, a collaborative approach and a passion for fair and equitable reward practices.
You'll Bring
- Experience in job evaluation, reward analysis or a similar HR role where job evaluation has been a significant responsibility.
- Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies and an understanding of pay, reward, equal pay and pay gap reporting.
- Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting workforce and HR data to produce meaningful insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Experience of managing projects and delivering work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge at all levels.
- A CIPD qualification, HR-related degree, professional training, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience within local government, the public sector or a similar complex organisation would be advantageous.
