We believe every child deserves to feel loved, supported and inspired to learn. That’s why we’re passionate about creating engaging, high-quality educational resources that make a genuine difference to teachers, schools and families across the globe.
Our library of over 1,000,000 teaching and learning resources has been created by experienced educators to support learning both inside and outside the classroom.
From planning and assessment tools to leadership and wellbeing resources, we help educators focus on what matters most—inspiring learners.
As Twinkl continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Reward and Benefits Manager to help us attract, retain and recognise the people who make this possible.
About The Role
You’ll shape how we reward our people, combining commercial judgement with hands-on delivery. From developing salary bands and reviewing benefits to supporting the annual pay review process, you’ll turn data and business priorities into practical, clearly communicated decisions.
Working with the Head of HR and the wider People Team and executive leaders, you’ll build reward approaches that balance market competitiveness, fairness and affordability for the location within the UK, US or beyond.
Presenting to our executive team will be a regular part of the role. You’ll make complex reward information easy to understand, explain your recommendations and the reasoning behind them, and respond confidently to questions. You’ll also help managers and colleagues understand how our pay and benefits programmes work and what they mean for them.
In This Role You Will
- Develop and maintain pay structures, salary bands and bonus schemes that support our business goals and help us attract and retain talent.
- Lead the annual pay review from planning through to implementation, coordinating with People and Finance colleagues and providing clear guidance, training and documentation aligned with the performance review cycle.
- Manage the full benefits lifecycle, including development, implementation, administration, colleague communications and renewals across health, wellbeing, pensions and salary sacrifice schemes.
- Analyse salary data and market trends, turning benchmarking into clear recommendations that explain the options, costs and implications for the business.
- Evaluate roles using a consistent approach to job classification and pay levels, working with People and Learning and Development colleagues to support alignment with grading and career frameworks.
- Ensure reward policies and benefits programmes meet relevant local legal, tax and employment requirements, working with specialist colleagues and advisers where needed.
- Present reward insights and proposals regularly to executive leaders, tailoring the detail to your audience and helping them make informed decisions.
- Act as the main contact for reward questions and improve how we communicate the value of our offer to colleagues, including exploring total reward statements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
