Help Shape Fair Pay in Social Care

At Community Integrated Care, we believe that rewarding our colleagues fairly isn't just good practice, it's fundamental to delivering outstanding care and support.

We're looking for an experienced Reward Manager to join us on a 12-18 month fixed-term basis and play a leading role in shaping our reward strategy, pay frameworks and colleague benefits offer.

This is a unique opportunity to influence reward at scale within one of the UK's largest and most successful social care charities, helping us attract, retain and recognise the amazing people who make a difference every day.

You'll also contribute to our award-winning Unfair To Care campaign, using data and insight to help drive positive change across the social care sector.

This is a 12-18 month fixed term contract with attendance at our head office in Widnes required at least once a week so our ideal candidate will be based within an hours commute of Widnes.

As our Reward Manager, you'll lead and continually improve our reward offering, ensuring it remains fair, transparent, commercially sustainable and aligned with our organisational values.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the annual pay review process from planning through to delivery.
  • Maintaining and developing pay frameworks and structures.
  • Delivering meaningful reward analytics, insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Owning salary benchmarking and market analysis activities.
  • Partnering with Finance to model pay scenarios and support Executive Team decision-making.
  • Managing and enhancing colleague benefits and reward schemes.
  • Providing expert reward advice to leaders, managers and People Team colleagues.
  • Ensuring reward practices remain compliant with legislation, governance requirements and best practice
  • Leading reward-related projects that improve processes, systems and colleague experience.

What We’re Looking For

You'll be a credible reward professional who combines technical expertise with strong stakeholder management skills.

You'll Bring

  • Significant experience in a Reward, Compensation & Benefits or Pay & Reward role
  • Strong experience developing and managing pay frameworks
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Experience leading annual pay review processes and salary benchmarking exercises
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders through evidence-based recommendations
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of balancing fairness with affordability
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • A passion for fairness, transparency and continuous improvement

Experience within social care, healthcare, charity or public sector environments would be advantageous, but is not essential.
