Reward Manager
We are looking for a Reward Manager to join our driven team in our brand new head office in central Milton Keynes. You will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of the Group's reward programmes, including pay, bonus / incentives, job evaluation and benefits, enabling the delivery of the Group's reward strategy. You will act as a trusted adviser to the People team and business leaders, providing commercially grounded, data-led advice on all aspects of reward and manage the annual reward calendar, associated benefit providers and reward governance, and lead the delivery of reward communications to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Act as subject matter expert on reward, providing advice and guidance to the People team, senior leaders and divisional stakeholders, and resolving escalated complex queries.
- Lead the delivery of the annual reward cycle across the Group, including pay reviews, bonus / incentive awards and medical and risk benefit renewals, ensuring plans, timelines and governance are met.
- Support the design, review and implementation of pay structures and bonus / incentive schemes, ensuring they are consistent, affordable and aligned to the Group's reward strategy.
- Oversee job evaluation/levelling and salary benchmarking activity, ensuring consistent, well-evidenced outcomes and maintaining appropriate records.
- Prepare high-quality papers and supporting analysis for the Remuneration Committee(s) and senior leadership, ensuring accuracy and delivery to deadline.
- Manage the relationship with 3rd party providers, including benefits consultants, brokers and benchmarking data providers, ensuring agreed SLAs/ KPIs are met, costs are controlled and scheme documentation is up-to-date.
- Monitor reward data and market trends, reporting on pay and benefit metrics and recommending improvements to policy and practice.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements which may relate to pay and benefits, including National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage, equal pay and gender pay gap reporting.
- Work with Payroll and Finance to ensure reward changes are accurately costed, budgeted and implemented.
- Lead the delivery of reward communications, ensuring benefit pages on the internal intranet provide clear and accurate information.
- Support the effective operation and maintenance of the HR system, ensuring that reward workflows and reward data remain accurate.
- Lead tendering and retendering processes in conjunction with the Reward Director, liaising with Procurement and Finance functions where appropriate.
- Provide guidance and support to Reward Team members, sharing expertise and helping to build reward capability across the People team.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Significant experience of working within a Reward role, including the delivery of pay and benefit programmes.
- Experience of managing third-party suppliers and advisers.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, able to turn data into clear insight and recommendations
- Ability to communicate complex information, adapting style to suit audience
- Strong Microsoft suite capability, particularly Excel
- Confident relationship builder
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to apply discretion managing sensitive information.
- Understanding of legislative and regulatory issues affecting reward
- Understanding of pay structures, job evaluation and incentive design
- Knowledge of employee benefits market
