We are partnering with a well-established, purpose-led organisation to recruit an experienced Reward Manager at an exciting point in the development of its People and Reward agenda.
With a new People Strategy recently launched and significant investment being made across its HR infrastructure and systems, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Reward specialist to take ownership of a broad and varied remit and play a key role in embedding and evolving the organisation's reward offering.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will provide specialist reward expertise and operational leadership, translating the organisation's Reward Strategy into effective frameworks, processes and practices.
An initial priority will be embedding a revised job architecture, job evaluation approach and pay structures, before taking ongoing ownership of the wider reward agenda.
The Role
As Reward Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the implementation of the Reward Strategy and wider People Strategy, translating agreed priorities into effective and sustainable reward practices.
- Managing and maintaining the organisation's job architecture, job evaluation and grading frameworks.
- Leading the end-to-end annual pay and bonus review cycles, including modelling, data preparation, moderation, approvals, communications and implementation.
- Undertaking external market benchmarking and salary survey activity, using market and internal data to inform reward decisions.
- Producing high-quality reward analytics and modelling, translating complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Maintaining robust reward governance, policies, processes and controls, ensuring decisions are fair, consistent and compliant.
- Supporting the ongoing development of employee benefits and recognition programmes.
- Acting as a trusted Reward adviser to senior leaders, managers and HR colleagues on complex reward matters.
- Maintaining accurate reward data and supporting the effective use, configuration and testing of HR and reward systems.
- Managing relationships with external reward advisers, benefits providers and other key suppliers.
- Leading the production of the Gender Pay Gap Report and other reward-related legislative and regulatory reporting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
