Reward & Payroll Specialist | Cumbernauld

4-Month FTC | Hybrid

Are you a payroll expert with experience across reward and benefits? Or perhaps you’re a Reward specialist with a strong hands-on payroll background?

We are delighted to be exclusively supporting our customer, AG Barr, the iconic business behind some of the UK’s favourite drinks. We’re looking for a Reward & Payroll Specialist to provide cover during a period of absence within the team.

This is a hands-on role combining reward and flexible benefits activity with specialist payroll support. You’ll need to be self-sufficient, comfortable working with data and ready to hit the ground running.

What You’ll Do

  • Payroll: Act as the technical point of escalation for the People Co-ordinators, working with the outsourced payroll provider to resolve complex queries, validate outputs and strengthen reconciliations.
  • Reward and Benefits: Support the flexible benefits programme, reward reporting, benefits enrolment and wider reward projects.
  • Compliance: Support P11Ds, National Minimum Wage checks, company car submissions and preparations for PBIK changes.
  • Projects: Contribute to employee share plan activity, the digitisation of Long-Term Incentive Plans and ongoing process improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
