About the role

We're looking for a Reward Specialist to join our People team and play a key role in delivering compensation, benefits, and reward activities across National Gas. You'll provide specialist expertise, data-driven insight, and governance across reward programmes, helping ensure our reward offering remains competitive, equitable, and aligned to business needs.

Reward is a critical part of attracting, retaining, and motivating talented people. In this role, you'll deliver and help shape key reward activities including salary benchmarking, job evaluation, annual pay reviews, bonus processes, and benefits programmes that support colleagues across the business.

Working closely with the People team, managers, and external providers, you'll combine analytical expertise with practical reward knowledge and project management to ensure robust governance, informed decision-making, and a positive employee experience. Your insight will help influence reward strategy while supporting fair and competitive outcomes for our workforce.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
