Overview
About the Role
In this 6 month Fixed Term Contract, you'll join the global Human Resources reward team as a Compensation Specialist, based remotely in the UK, reporting to the Reward Manager. You'll support and administer Aptean's compensation framework across the global organisation. You'll contribute to the company's annual and quarterly reward activities within established policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Map new and changing roles to the appropriate job framework and job levels.
- Develop and maintain base pay ranges using market data and internal equity considerations.
- Analyse salary survey data and prepare compensation reports and recommendations.
- Review and maintain compensation master data and HRIS records for accuracy.
- Support calculation and administration of quarterly and annual incentive payments and equity-based awards.
About You
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Your clear communication and sound judgement enable you to explain compensation information in an understandable way. You manage competing priorities independently, collaborate effectively with colleagues and build trusted relationships with HR teams and managers. You handle confidential information with discretion and adapt in a changing environment.

- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance, mathematics, statistics or related field.
- Relevant professional experience in compensation, reward, HR analytics, benefits or a related HR discipline.
- Compensation knowledge covering principles, job architecture, salary benchmarking, internal equity, pay processes and HRIS expertise.
- Strong Excel knowledge including lookup functions, pivot tables and formulas for data analysis and presentation.
- Awareness of applicable UK employment and pay requirements and confidentiality when handling compensation information.
To be Ahead of the Pack, You Might Have:
- A Master's degree
- A recognised HR or reward qualification
- Experience supporting compensation programmes across multiple countries or within a global organisation
- Knowledge of private-equity-backed environment reward considerations including performance-based bonuses, equity remuneration and share plans
