Are you an experienced HR professional with strong reward and payroll knowledge looking for your next interim opportunity?

We're supporting a well-known Government organisation as they seek an HR professional to join their People Services team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting strategic reward initiatives whilst providing expert HR advice across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Head of People Services across a range of HR activities
  • Pay benchmarking and reward-related projects
  • Supporting gender pay gap reporting and analysis
  • Responding to payroll queries and providing guidance to stakeholders
  • Interpreting and advising on HR policies and procedures
  • Managing and developing two Band B direct reports
  • Building effective relationships with managers and stakeholders across the organisation

About You

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • Strong HR generalist background with reward and payroll exposure
  • Experience supporting pay and reward initiatives
  • Confident interpreting HR policies and advising managers
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Available to start at short notice
