Are you an experienced HR professional with strong reward and payroll knowledge looking for your next interim opportunity?
We're supporting a well-known Government organisation as they seek an HR professional to join their People Services team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting strategic reward initiatives whilst providing expert HR advice across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Head of People Services across a range of HR activities
- Pay benchmarking and reward-related projects
- Supporting gender pay gap reporting and analysis
- Responding to payroll queries and providing guidance to stakeholders
- Interpreting and advising on HR policies and procedures
- Managing and developing two Band B direct reports
- Building effective relationships with managers and stakeholders across the organisation

About You
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
- Strong HR generalist background with reward and payroll exposure
- Experience supporting pay and reward initiatives
- Confident interpreting HR policies and advising managers
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Available to start at short notice
