What’s The Role

As a Reward Specialist, you will provide hands-on operational support across the core Reward cycle. Your focus will be accurate and timely delivery of market benchmarking, merit and bonus processes, data validation and reporting, across Reward and Benefits. You will work closely with Reward Business Partners, HR and market stakeholders, using Workday and advanced Excel skills to keep processes running smoothly and resolve day-to-day issues.

Please note that this is a 12-month fixed-term contract position.

What You'll Do

  • Support annual Reward processes. Prepare, validate and track merit, salary review and bonus activities, following agreed timelines, controls and escalation routes.
  • Deliver market benchmarking. Match jobs, maintain survey inputs, analyse market data and prepare clear outputs to support pay decisions and salary structure reviews.
  • Maintain accurate Reward and Benefits data. Complete data checks, reconcile inputs and outputs, investigate exceptions and keep documentation in order.
  • Provide Workday operational support. Use Workday compensation and reporting functionality confidently, support users and help resolve process or data issues.
  • Use Excel at an advanced level. Build and maintain robust files using lookups, pivot tables, logical formulas, data validation and repeatable analysis.
  • Prepare reporting and insights. Produce accurate reports, identify trends or anomalies and explain findings in a clear, practical manner.
  • Respond to Reward queries. Provide reliable first-line support to HR colleagues and stakeholders, resolving straightforward questions and escalating complex matters with a clear summary.
  • Improve ways of working. Identify opportunities to simplify templates, strengthen controls, reduce manual effort and improve the user experience.
  • Support projects as required. Contribute to regional Reward initiatives and peak-cycle priorities with a flexible, collaborative approach.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
