We are working with a leading organisation based in Kilmarnock who are looking to appoint an experienced Reward Advisor to join their People team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of reward who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.

As Reward Advisor, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of the organisation’s reward strategy, ensuring employees are fairly and competitively rewarded. You’ll work closely with colleagues across HR and the wider business, providing accurate advice and supporting a range of reward-related activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day advice and guidance on reward and benefits matters.
  • Support the delivery and ongoing review of the organisation’s reward strategy.
  • Assist with salary reviews, benchmarking and pay-related activity.
  • Support the annual remuneration and pay review processes.
  • Provide analysis and insight on salary and reward data to support decision-making.
  • Assist with the management and administration of employee benefits.
  • Support job evaluation and salary grading activity where required.
  • Monitor market trends and provide insight into external reward developments.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for HR and senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure reward processes are accurate, consistent and aligned with company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with HR colleagues and internal stakeholders to resolve reward-related queries.
  • Support wider People projects and initiatives as required.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience working within Reward, Compensation & Benefits or a similar HR position.
  • A good understanding of reward principles, salary benchmarking and benefits.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with Excel and HR data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
  • The ability to interpret data and turn it into clear, practical recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • The confidence to provide advice and challenge constructively where appropriate.
