About the Role

A successful candidate will be passionate about delivering a rich and exciting player experience through thoughtful and data-driven reward mechanics. If you have a passion for games and analytics, then this is a great opportunity. You’ll partner closely with Live Ops, Product, and Analytics teams to create and maintain rewards systems that are engaging, balanced, and seamlessly integrated into Betty’s product. This role comes at an exciting time for Betty, as we launch a wave of new features and offer the opportunity to build something truly innovative in iGaming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Betty’s Loyalty System rewards logic, proactively proposing ideas and models to optimise the current state and drive continuous improvement.
  • Design, balance, and maintain new reward mechanics that optimise player experience and performance.
  • Collaborate with Product and Shop Managers to optimise the ecosystem of Betty coins and model scenarios for future currencies within Betty.
  • Present well-researched new ideas to teams, clearly outlining expected KPI uplifts from proposed mechanics.
  • Partner with Live Ops to iterate on rewards effectiveness, optimising retention and rewards given while maintaining a data-led approach.
  • Support Product and Live Ops teams in launching monetisation strategies across campaigns, events, collections, and gamification mechanics.
  • Design systems that balance progression and rewards across the entire player lifecycle, from onboarding to long-term, experienced players.
  • Create and configure payouts to games and features to maintain a balanced economy and ensure a rewarding, repeatable player experience.
  • Collaborate with BI to define requirements for rewards-tuning tools and dashboards that enable ongoing optimisation.

Requirements

  • Advanced numeracy, modelling, SQL and Excel skills.
  • Knowledge around building mathematical simulations to test out different reward structures.
  • Strong understanding of player psychology and monetisation mechanics.
  • Data-driven mindset, able to balance insights with player experience in shaping the economy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain reward mechanic design through a clear, player-focused lens.
