Senior Antenna & RF Design Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Antenna & RF Design Engineer to join a growing international technology group developing advanced RF, microwave and antenna solutions for mission-critical applications across defence, aerospace, security, space, telecommunications and government sectors.

The organisation is investing in a brand-new UK Research & Development capability that will focus on solving some of the most technically challenging RF and antenna engineering problems across a global portfolio of innovative products.

Working within a small team of highly experienced engineers, you will collaborate with international engineering teams and customers to develop next-generation RF systems, antenna technologies and integrated electronic solutions from concept through to production.

This is a rare opportunity to work on genuinely cutting-edge RF and antenna developments including phased arrays, electronic warfare, SATCOM, direction finding and advanced RF systems, whilst helping to mentor and develop the next generation of engineers.

This role would suit an experienced RF Design Engineer, Antenna Engineer, Microwave Engineer or Senior Electronic Design Engineer with a strong background in RF and antenna design who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and leading technical development projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
