RF Application Engineer

The RF Application Engineer provides technical expertise and hands-on support to customers integrating advanced RF, wireless into their systems. This role bridges engineering and customer experience by troubleshooting complex hardware issues, validating RF performance, supporting product deployment, and ensuring customer success from design-in through production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Technical Support

    • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer inquiries related to RF, wireless, and hardware products.
    • Diagnose and resolve RF performance issues, hardware malfunctions, signal integrity problems, and system-level integration challenges.
    • Reproduce customer issues in the lab using RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, oscilloscopes, FPGA reference platforms, etc).
    • Provide timely, accurate, and clear technical responses, including root-cause analysis and corrective action recommendations.
  • Field & Integration Support

    • Assist customers during product bring-up, calibration, and RF system integration phases.
    • Guide customers in driver development, RF tuning, layout best practices, and system performance optimization.
    • Support FPGA-based configuration, debugging, and signal processing workflows.
    • Participate in on-site customer visits when required for complex debugging or deployment support.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
