Overview

Expleo is a trusted partner for engineering, quality services, and digital transformation. We collaborate with world-leading aerospace manufacturers, delivering cutting-edge solutions in structural analysis, finite element modelling, numerical simulation, and certification support. At Expleo, we foster innovation, technical excellence, and professional growth, empowering our teams to shape the future of aerospace engineering.

We are seeking an experienced RF Test & Integration Engineer to support Leonardo’s radar programmes in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for the integration, testing, verification and fault diagnosis of complex RF and radar systems. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong experience of RF test environments, radar technology and the use of specialist RF test equipment. The successful candidate will be a practical and experienced RF engineer who can work independently within a secure, predominantly on-site test environment. They must be comfortable diagnosing technically complex issues, working across engineering disciplines and communicating test findings clearly to both technical teams and programme stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and test RF, radar and associated electronic systems.
  • Perform system, subsystem and equipment-level testing.
  • Execute RF test procedures and record results accurately.
  • Support the integration of RF hardware, firmware and software.
  • Verify system performance against technical requirements.
  • Investigate faults and identify root causes across complex RF systems.
  • Support troubleshooting, defect resolution and corrective actions.
  • Analyse test data and produce clear technical reports.
  • Operate and maintain specialist RF test equipment.
  • Work closely with systems, hardware, firmware and software engineering teams.
  • Support test readiness reviews and technical design reviews.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant quality, safety and configuration-management processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
