Qualifications

What You’ll Do as a RFID Analyst

We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:

  • Analyze RFID and operational data to identify high-volume continuity merchandise, recommending targeted actions in partnership with supply chain and logistics teams to improve availability and performance.
  • Evaluate and interpret RFID count saturation test results across departments and depots, providing insights to optimize inventory accuracy and operational effectiveness.
  • Identify, quantify, and drive value realization opportunities across all phases of RFID implementation, including sales growth, shrink reduction, and process efficiency improvements.
  • Develop and present robust business case proposals, partnering with Finance to validate benefits, costs, and return on investment.
  • Leverage industry best practices, vendor partnerships, and external retail networks to shape and deliver the RFID roadmap and future use cases.
  • Apply predictive analytics and market insights to drive performance improvements, while effectively communicating progress, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

What You’ll Bring

Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with RFID-generated data, supporting deployments and identifying opportunities for new use cases and business value creation.
  • Over 5 years’ experience in retail or supply chain environments, with a strong understanding of central functions, operational processes, and performance drivers.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience building dashboards and managing complex datasets using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Strong ability to interpret data from multiple sources, draw evidence-based conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations that balance cost, value, and customer experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts, including RFID technology and strategy, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated strategic and innovative thinking, supported by a strong awareness of retail industry trends, emerging technologies, and cross-functional collaboration.
