Job Description
As our RFID Program Deployment Manager, you will be the strategic glue between technology and retail execution. You aren't just managing a "tech rollout"; you are re-engineering how our stores operate to ensure every item is in the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
In-Store Execution Modeling & Engineering
- You will serve as the subject matter expert on how RFID physically lives within our ecosystem.
- Hardware Selection: Identify and validate the optimal inlays and tags based on product material (e.g., metal, liquid, or fabric) and read-range requirements.
- Tagging Logic: Define where to tag items (source vs. store) to maximize read accuracy while minimizing labor friction.
- Operations & Training: Develop labor optimization models and lead store operations training to ensure floor staff can use RFID tools seamlessly.
- Deployment Strategy: Create the "Playbook" for transitioning from Proof of Concept (POC) to full-scale enterprise rollout.
Performance Analytics & KPI Support
- You will assist in demonstrating the program's value by tracking and organizing key project data.
- Data Baselines: Help collect and document baseline data points prior to deployment to assist in measuring incremental growth.
- Growth Metrics: Understand and support reports on Sales Lift and Margin Lift related to RFID inventory accuracy.
- Operational Health: Monitor Out-of-Stock (OOS) rates and inventory distortion to help inform supply chain replenishment cycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or related.
- Strong background in retail operations.
- Good facilitation, customer service, relationship building, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented; strong analytical skills & organizational skills.
- Comfort and confidence in interacting with and presenting to all levels in an organization.
- Good business acumen.
- Ability to influence effectively without authority.
- A propensity for identifying issues proactively, making decisions with incomplete information, and acting expediently.
- Proficient in English.
- Willingness to work on a global clock and platform - some overnight work required.
- 50-70% Travel.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
