Senior RGS Backend Engineer | Remote | iGaming - £80,000
We're partnering with an established and growing online gaming company to hire a Senior RGS Backend Engineer.
This role is ideal for an experienced backend engineer who wants to work on high-performance gaming platforms, scalable backend services, and Remote Gaming Server (RGS) technology within a fast-paced iGaming environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Remote Gaming Server (RGS) solutions
- Build scalable backend services that support real-money gaming products
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrations for operator and aggregator partners
- Ensure high levels of platform reliability, performance, and security
- Collaborate with game developers, QA engineers, and product teams
- Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making
- Optimise existing services and support continuous platform improvement

Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience developing backend systems using Go
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design
- Experience building and maintaining scalable APIs
- Understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture
- Previous experience within iGaming, online casino, RGS, or gaming platform development
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

- Experience with game server development
