Job Title: Rheumatology Specialist Support Nurse
We are recruiting for a Rheumatology Specialist Support Nurse who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop their skills and contribute to the care of patients with rheumatic conditions.
We are a friendly, supportive and innovative team of Specialist Nurses. We are looking for a flexible and motivated individual who is keen to develop within this specialist field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for supporting the specialist nursing team to provide high quality, patient focused care.
- Provide specialist advice and support to patients, liaising with other staff members and allied healthcare professionals. This includes specialist education about the treatments used in the specialty.
- Assess, plan and implement specialist individual nursing care to our patient cohort.
- Run nurse-led clinics across our three sites, and offer support via the advice line, with support from the consultants and senior nursing team.
