Join Our Rheumatology Team and Make a Difference
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate nurse to join our dedicated Rheumatology team, providing expert clinical care and support to patients living with rheumatological conditions.
In This Role, You Will
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care while developing and enhancing your specialist Rheumatology knowledge and skills.
- Provide expert clinical support and advice to Rheumatology patients, helping to improve their experience and outcomes.
- Act as a key nursing resource for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals, offering guidance, education, and psychological support.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of services by reviewing nursing practice and supporting the implementation of evidence-based changes and best practice.
- Assist in the development, delivery, and evaluation of audit, quality improvement, and risk management initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your specialist expertise within a supportive multidisciplinary team and play a vital role in enhancing services for Rheumatology patients across our organisation.
Responsibilities
- To co-ordinate a clinical workload in liaison with the appropriate medical physician and departmental manager.
- To ensure that agreed standards of nursing practice are maintained.
- To administer intravenous and intramuscular therapies of Rheumatology patients, under the direction of the Consultant Rheumatologist.
- To perform assessment of Rheumatology patients, before and during treatment.
- To perform ongoing monitoring of Rheumatology patients, under the direction of the Consultant Rheumatologist.
- Actively support/enhance good communication between members of the multi-disciplinary team, the patient and their carers.
- To maintain accurate patient records.
- To actively participate in the collation of data for research and audit purposes.
