RD Content is an award-winning international production company specialising in commercial, film and TV production. We are currently seeking an experienced in-house Rigger/Gaffer to join the team based at our studios in West London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the rigging and lighting requirements for our productions, ensuring the highest quality of work and safety standards are maintained. Your Health and Safety awareness and knowledge must be up to date.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the content production team to understand the requirements of each project.
  • Designing lighting and rigging plans for in house projects as needed.
  • Setting up and rigging lighting and other equipment on set, in the studio or on location.
  • Experience of automated truss a huge bonus as that is what is in every studio that we run.

  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot/resolve any technical issues as they arise.
  • Operating DMX and desk controls as required.

  • Inputting on future equipment purchases and studio plans.
  • When required working with other teams such as RD Rentals and VMI to support needs as and when.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
