Job Description
NBCUniversal seeks a creative, self-motivated individual to join a newly created team to exclusively support the Rigging requirements at Sky Studios Elstree, the world’s most sustainable film and TV studio. With 13 sound stages the studios will become host to Sky Originals and major film productions from Universal Pictures, Focus Features and Working Title.
The Rigging Coordinator is a full-time position with responsibility across the full range of rigging rental operations. In addition to supporting day-to-day operational requirements, the role will play an important part in developing and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders and teams on site at Bovingdon and Panattoni, ensuring a collaborative, responsive and joined-up service for productions.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to existing and potential clients by being courteous, responsive, and resourceful
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key operational stakeholders and teams onsite at Bovingdon & Panattoni Pank, acting as a trusted point of contact for rigging requirements
- Maintain good, positive relationships with customers and vendors
- Receive and quote orders for rigging equipment
- Working directly with productions, production crews, and studios either by telephone, email, or face to face
- Process day to day production requests for film and television productions equipment
- Coordinate customer deliveries and collections
- Maintain customer files in accurate, detailed manner in all areas, including add-on’s, exchanges, PO’s, sub-rentals, missing and damaged equipment, and returns (wrap)
- Communicate with Yard staff on all equipment order processing, order changes and equipment exchanges,
- Accurately process purchase orders and negotiate sub-rental or equipment vendors to achieve discount pricing
- Ensure completed paperwork is appropriately organized and sent to the billing department
- Handle problem situations and resolve them as they arise
- Liaise with productions, rental partners and the studio for equipment inspections
- Act as a key link between the rigging operation and Bovingdon and Panattoni teams, sharing information, anticipating requirements and helping identify opportunities to strengthen ways of working and service delivery.
- Provide assistance and assume responsibility for other areas as required by the Rigging Manager
Qualifications
- Must be computer literate with detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Rental software Rental Tracker Pro knowledge is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a strong sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with on-site operational teams, customers and partners and work collaboratively across organisational boundaries.
- Able to organize, prioritize and execute numerous orders in tandem.
- Must handle stressful situations professionally and confidentially as well as interact with co-workers and clients professionally.
- Must be an affective trouble shooter, communicator, and problem solver.
- Accuracy with details essential.
- Experience in production support services within the Film and Television industry an advantage.
- Experience working with and supporting multiple stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, operational supervisors, and front-line crew.
- Ability to navigate through very complex situations and personalities.
- Be a confident team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
