We’re a global video and lighting service provider delivering technical expertise across exhibitions, concerts, touring, conferences, theatre, TV, film, and retail.

We’re Looking for a Rigging Prep Technician to join our warehouse team in our brand new Hertford location, supporting the preparation, maintenance, and organisation of rigging and lifting equipment across our UK operation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys technical work, takes pride in equipment standards, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare, scan, and collate rigging equipment, staging it appropriately for jobs/orders.
  • Inspect, clean, test, and troubleshoot motors and rigging gear.
  • Carry out general maintenance and basic repairs to ensure equipment meets safety and rental standards.
  • Check equipment in and out using the asset management system, maintaining accurate records.
  • Support stock control, reporting shortages of spares and consumables.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace in line with Health & Safety standards.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles and general warehouse operations.
  • Support stock takes and overall equipment organisation.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working with theatrical rigging, lifting equipment, or electric motors.
  • Practical technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to safety and compliance.
  • Comfortable using computer systems and asset management software.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg and working in an active warehouse environment.
