Job Title: Rights and Digitisation Project Manager
Do you have experience managing complex projects involving rights clearances, archives, and digital content? Can you combine exceptional attention to detail with the ability to drive projects through to successful completion?
We are looking for an experienced Rights and Digitisation Project Manager to lead the delivery of an innovative pilot programme of rights clearance and digitisation activity, funded by UKRI through the R&D Missions Accelerator Programme. This role is critical to unlocking the value of a unique collection of theatrical posters and design assets, making them accessible, searchable, and ready for future commercial, research, and digital use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and delivery of rights clearances and oversee an external digitisation project, ensuring objectives, budgets, and timescales are achieved.
- Manage rights and permissions processes, including identifying rights holders, setting royalties structures, securing agreements, and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and implement project plans, workflows, and documentation to support digitisation and long-term access to content.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and specialist consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee and upload digitised materials to the Creative Content Exchange platform and RSC DAMS, ensuring compliance with metadata standards and the accurate application of rights information.
- Monitor project risks, report on progress in line with funder requirements, and provide recommendations to support successful outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
